THE ROAD TO ZERO EMISSIONS
Lean & Green gives participating companies verified recognition (Stars) for the CO2 reduction achieved on logistics activities. Participants follow the 5 Star Framework by drawing up a CO2 reduction plan and measuring and monitoring CO2 emissions annually. The participants in Lean & Green form a community in which cooperation and knowledge sharing are at the basis.
Annual measurement and monitoring of CO2 emissions provides new insights into reduction opportunities. Each reduction target achieved is verified by an external auditor before a Star is awarded.
Currently, we at Opticom are working hard to reduce our CO2 emissions using the 5-Star framework. We hope to show the concrete certification of this this spring (2025).
